Your details
Your details sit in Settings > Your details. Each field does something, so it is worth filling them all in.

| Instructor registration number | Your official instructor ID, if applicable |
| Base postcode | Where your day usually starts |
| Usual lesson length | The length the booking form starts with |
| Travel gap | Time kept clear between two lessons |
Teaching cars are managed separately under Settings > Your cars. Add a name, registration and transmission for each car, then choose one while booking a learner in.
The travel gap
Section titled “The travel gap”The travel gap is the field that changes most. Learner treats it as part of the lesson:
- it is kept clear when a learner is offered slots,
- it blocks a booking that leaves you no time to drive between two pickups.
Set it to the time you actually need in traffic, not the best case. Fifteen minutes suits most towns.
